I’m sorry to do this and I love the food here, but the past couple months the actual restaurant has been *disgusting*. Not only is there visibly dirt, grime, food, and stains all over the floor and every surface, but it smells AWFUL. They seriously need to hire a professional crew to deep clean the place and then they need to maintain it. I am not asking for much, I understand that it is in a gas station, but it does not even meet the minimum standard of cleanliness that you would find at any fast food restaurant.

I've been here a few times and it's always been pretty good. Went today and got a chicken shawarma wrap and was very much looking forward to it since I drove all the way cross town for it. It was so so dry for some reason this time and was in dire need of some sauce. It was such a shame. The flavors were good, and I liked their hummus, but man was that thing was dry.

Pretty good food dor a gas station. Their gyro meat isn't the best, and I wouldn't say it is particularly a good value, but the food is decent. If you're craving this type of food Uptown, not a bad choice.

Really great food.Best Gyro Philly sandwich i have ever ate. There was so much stuff on it was falling off the bread. You must try this place. 3720 Magazine Street there great. You will not be disappointed.

Family owned and staffed. Exceedingly friendly and helpful. Owner handed me bites to try several different items on the menu, all of which were great. The portions are huge and price was even better. Value and quality are both out of the park at this place (I got the gyro wrap the first go round and will be back for a chicken wrap). Ignore the fact that it's in the gas station. This is the same family the owns several other prominent Mediterranean places around town. You like shawarma? You on the go? Swing by Shawarma on the Go. You'll be pleased.

I came here on a whim. The counter person was not friendly at all. Im not quite sure he washes his hands after taking money/cards, before he put the chicken on the plate. I ordered a chicken Shwarma plate. There was no one in here and it still took 10 minutes. I hope the food is good and it doesn't make my stomach fall out. Lol UPDATE: The food is really good. I will go there again

Don't be fooled. Much of the best food gems in the New Orleans area is tucked away in unassuming gas stations. This is definitely the case here! Great menu, made to order. Meat shaved off of the spit while you watch. Good portions, friendly staff. All around great experience. I will be back!

This is not a destination location. This is hole in the wall, pit stop pick up lunch spot. But they are right on. I had a cheesesteak that was almost like back east and a hundred times better than Liberty cheesesteak. Their wraps and their schwarma are their specialties, and I'm looking forward to trying them all. Very clean, great service, good value.
